This half term we will be covering mental and written methods for multiplication and division. We will also be looking at money and finally, we will be exploring different types of data and how to interpret it in our statistics units, We will continue to practice our 2,3,4,5,8 and 10 times tables throughout the term

Our science topic for this half term will be Rocks. We will look at the three different types if rocks fossilisation and we will also research the work of Mary Anning so we can understand her contributions to her field.
This half term we will be revising online safety and looking at research and communication in computing. This will include how to search effectively, how to bookmark and share pages and how to communicate onl;ine.
This half term we will be exploring how to have a healthy lifestyle, elements of this will build on our healthy eating in Science last half term.
This half term we are going to explore some local geography and look at Runcorn, We will be exploring where we are, what human and physical geography there is and also what services our town offers. We will also be looking at Hinduism in RE, The Beetles in music and British art (landscapes).
We will continue to have two PE sessions a week. Our sessions will concentrate on movement and competitive games with a focus on hockey.
Spellings will be sent out every Monday and will be tested after class input on a Friday.
Please can children read a minimum of three times a week and can reading diaries be briught into school daily.
